Because of the frequency of wildfires in the region, we monitor the AQI and have implemented the following policy:

• We monitor the air quality conditions during race week to review conditions.
• When reviewing conditions, as long as the Air Quality Index remains in the orange (150 and under), the race will occur as scheduled beginning at 8:00 am.
• We will check the Air Quality Index 60 minutes prior to race start time for one last reading and will communicate any updates at that point via email and social media.

As weather and wind conditions change, we will monitor the Air Quality Index and make any additional announcements via as necessary. Please monitor the race website and Facebook page for race updates.
